Almond Crescent Cookies
These are as pretty as they are tasty!
Ingredients

4 tablespoons butter
- softened

3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce

¾ tablespoon maple syrup

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon almond extract

1 cup gluten-free flour
- such as almond, oat, coconut, or a blend

1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon sliced almonds

dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350º.
- Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Grease a cookie sheet and divide the dough equally into balls.
- Then, shape the balls into crescent shape. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove and cool before serving.
