Beef in a Wok
Cooking beef in a wok is a fantastic way to achieve tender, flavorful meat with a delicious sear.
Ingredients

1 pound beef
- any cut; cut thin

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp soy sauce
- gf options such as Tamari will work

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 tsp ground ginger
- ground white pepper

1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

1 egg egg white
-
1/4 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 tsp olive oil
- can substitute sesame oil
Instructions
- Slice beef into thin, long strips, and then soak it in cold water for 10 minutes. Rinse it under running water. Use a kitchen towel or paper towel to dry the meat.
- Stir one egg white and baking soda and brush onto the meat. Let sit for 20 minutes.
- Blend salt, soy sauce, ground ginger, ground white pepper, and ground cumin in a separate bowl.
- Add the meat to the marinade and let marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Pour oil into a hot pan or wok with high heat, add the meat, and stir fry for 4-5 minutes until the meat is brown. Enjoy!
