Caprese Salad
Who doesn't love this summer favorite?
Ingredients

1/2 tomato
- Heirlooms are a great option

1 1/2 tsp red onion
- diced

1 1/2 tbsp mozzarella
- fresh, cubed

1 tbsp basil
- fresh

1 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar

1 1/2 tsp olive oil

salt and pepper
- to taste
Instructions
- Cut tomatoes into thick slices (approximately 4 slices/tomato).
- Place the tomatoes on a platter. Cover tomatoes with onions, mozzarella, and basil.
- Drizzle with vinegar and oil. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
