Chocolate Covered Bananas and Strawberries

  1. You can either melt chocolate in the microwave or on the stovetop. It is important to take the chips away from heat or out of the microwave before the chocolate is completely melted to avoid a burnt taste. Stir the chocolate as it continues to melt.
  2. Wash and completely dry the strawberries then dip them halfway into melted dark chocolate. Set on a plate covered with parchment or waxed paper.
  3. Cut a banana into thirds, then in half long ways. Dip one side of the banana into the chocolate and then sprinkle with the chopped pecans. Place bananas on a plate covered with parchment or waxed paper.
  4. Place the strawberries and bananas into the fridge until the chocolate has hardened. Enjoy!
