Cinnamon Chia Oatmeal with Apples & Walnuts
Warm, cozy, and super satisfying!
Ingredients

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup milk
- or unsweetened plant-based milk

1/2 cup water

1 tbsp chia seeds

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

pinch salt

1/2 apple
- diced - any variety

1 tsp pure maple syrup
- optional, to taste, or can use honey

1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- optional
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine oats, milk, water, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well.
- Add in the diced apple and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5–7 minutes until the oats are soft and the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract (if using).
- Pour into a bowl and top with more apples, nuts, and a dash of cinnamon.
- Serve warm and cozy!
