Strawberry Jam
Great on whole wheat bread, stirred into oatmeal, and atop a slice of Brie cheese!
Ingredients

1/2 cup strawberries
- sliced; can substitute blueberries or blackberries

1 1/2 tsp chia seeds

1 1/2 tsp pure maple syrup
- can substitute honey
Instructions
- Place strawberries in a covered pan and cook over low heat. Stir after 3 minutes and continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Add chia seeds and maple syrup. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until almost smooth. Put in a mason jar and allow it to cool for 10 minutes. Put on the lid and place in the refrigerator and use as needed.
