Bone Broth
Bone broth is rich in nutrients and aids gut health, joint health, and immunity.
Ingredients
-
4 cups water
-
1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
-
2 3/4 lb animal bones
- ie. chicken, beef, pork
-
salt and pepper
- to taste
Instructions
- I highly recommend drinking 1 cup each morning. It's one of the best things you can do for your bones, hair and other things!!
- Place all ingredients in a large pot or slow cooker.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook for 12–24 hours. The longer it cooks, the better it will taste and more nutritious it will be.
- Allow the broth to cool. Strain it into a large container and discard the solids.
- Homemade bone broth can typically last in the fridge for up to 7 days. To preserve it longer, you can freeze it for up to 12 months.
