Pumpkin Scones
Whether paired with a hot cup of coffee or on their own, these pumpkin scones are sure to brighten your day!
Ingredients

1/4 cup pecans
- chopped

1/2 cup flour

1/4 banana
- ripe

3/4 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp pure maple syrup

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp allspice

1 1/3 tbsp coconut oil
- melted; can substitute butter

1 1/4 cup pumpkin puree

1 tbsp milk
- almond milk, low-fat milk, etc.

1/8 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400º.
- Mash the banana with the back of a fork in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
- Place a small ball of dough on a greased baking pan. Shape the dough into a small loaf or into a slight crescent shape. Cook for 20 minutes.
