Sweet & Spicy Asian Shrimp
Succulent shrimp are marinated in a flavorful blend of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. This dish is not only delicious but also nutritious, as it's packed with protein and low in calories. Ingredients

1/4 lb shrimp
- medium sized, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp vegetable broth
- chicken broth can be used as a substitute - low-sodium, organic is ideal

1/2 clove garlic
- minced

1 1/2 tsp ginger
- minced

1 tbsp lemon juice
- fresh

1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- use Braggs Liquid Amino Acid as substitute for gluten-free

1 tbsp orange juice

1/8 tsp red pepper flakes

1/8 cup fresh basil
- chopped
Instructions
- Put broth in a pan and cook over high heat until it reaches a low boil.
- Turn heat to medium and add all ingredients EXCEPT the shrimp and basil. Cook over medium heat for 5 mins.
- Add shrimp and basil and cook for another 4 mins. or until shrimp are just cooked.
- Pour over brown rice or enjoy on its own.
