Motion is lotion. I was talking to a friend who is a well-respected pain management doctor. He told me that he tells his patients that “motion is lotion”. If your body aches, it may be that the best thing you can do is move it. This could be a walk, stretches, or a full workout. Of course, listen to your body and don’t push it to the point of pain, but when you’re a bit stiff or achy, movement may be just what you need.  

And pulling from today's message about community, remember movement doesn’t have to be done alone. Invite a friend to work out with you, meet a neighbor for a walk, or join a group workout class. Moving your body with others can make it more enjoyable and give you something to look forward to!
