DAY 11

In today's video message, I talk specifically about why I chose to include "faith" in my fitness program. I like to think of my health as a 3 legged stool. The 3 legs represent faith, fitness, and food. If one of them is broken or not in alignment with the others, the stool will topple over. It's the same with our health. Here is a quick recap of the role that each of these 3 play in your health.

  1. Fitness: Your body was designed to move, and it thrives when you do. Movement strengthens your muscles, supports your joints, improves circulation, and even fights fatigue. When doing one of our daily workout videos, you are not only doing great things for your body, but the music and messages included in the workouts are also so good for your spiritual health. Unlike some workout videos that talk about getting 6-pack abs and losing weight, our workouts will encourage you to open your ears to the voice of God, lift your mood, and just make your whole day better.
  1. Food: Nutrition plays a huge role in how you feel both physically and emotionally. The foods you choose affect your energy level, focus, and even your mood. Filling your plate with colorful fruits and vegetables gives your body the vitamins and antioxidants it needs to fight inflammation and support your immune system. Protein helps build and repair muscle, keeping you strong as you move through your day. Even small changes like drinking more water, adding protein to breakfast, or swapping processed snacks for fresh choices can add up to big results over time. Our daily nutrition challenges will help keep you on track!
  1. Faith: Last, but certainly not least, your spiritual health matters too. There are many ways you can connect with God: reading your Bible, praying, listening to worship music, going to church, talking with others about Him... The one thing I guarantee, no matter what is going on in your life, He is there for you and wants to help you.  When I set aside time to be with God, it helps me to slow down the chaos, focus on what truly matters, and remind me that real peace doesn’t come from productivity or checking boxes; it comes from being present with the One who created me.

By committing to these three areas of your life, you’re not just building habits, you’re creating a stronger, healthier, more balanced life from the inside out. And the best part? The more consistently you do them, the easier and more natural they become.

Message:

I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 40 years, and I truly believe that if you want to succeed in making lasting healthy changes, you need to include Faith, Fitness, and Food. That’s why all 3 of these are included on our website. I want to make sure you are aware of what we offer for Free on our site.

Something to Think About:

"I work very hard at this as I depend on Christ's mighty power that works within me." Colossians 1:29

It's important that you pray and ask God for help and then trust Him. It's also important that you are willing to do your part. When it comes to your health journey, do you feel you have a good balance between doing your part AND depending on His mighty power?

Nutrition Tip:

Two things for today:

  1. Snacking can be beneficial to our health and support us on our journey to a healthy weight, OR it can be the downfall of our eating plan. The big question is "Are you eating because you're hungry or for some other reason?" The other question is, what are you snacking on?? In today's video, I share ideas for simple snacks that are quick, healthy, and filling.
  1. Many of us hear the words "fats" or "carbohydrates" and think we need to stay clear of them, but the truth is, we can't live without them. CLICK HERE to learn more about macronutrients.
