DAY 2
Our thoughts matter more than we often realize. They shape how we feel, the choices we make, and how we respond when things get hard. When you pause long enough to notice your thoughts, you create space to choose a different direction. That small pause can be the start of real, lasting change.
Anticipatory thinking is just deciding ahead of time how you want to respond instead of letting old habits decide for you. It’s choosing thoughts that support where you’re headed, not where you’ve been. You don’t have to fix everything today. Just focus on the next healthy step.
Something to Think About:
"You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending." - C.S. Lewis
As you move through your day, notice your thoughts. When one pops up that isn’t taking you where you want to go, gently ask, Is this helping me move forward? If not, choose a thought that does.

Nutrition Tip:
Use smaller glasses and plates - you will feel like you are eating more, and it will help you avoid overeating. I found this to be true for me when it comes to wine glasses. Some of them are so big, and you think I've only had 1 glass of wine, but in reality, you had 2 because the glass is so big. I often use a very small glass, which keeps me from drinking more than I want.
