DAY 4

In today’s video, I share about the importance of having a clear vision and knowing the pain of not changing.

I have studied what it takes to change for many years, and I consistently hear about the importance of having a vision that is so compelling that it makes you excited to push through temptations and struggles. When you create a picture of what your life could look like, it will inspire you to keep going!

It's also important that you understand the pain of not changing AND that there may be some initial pain when you do change. Take inventory of what pain could look like in your journey to better health. When you name the pain honestly, you’re better equipped to choose growth.

Nutrition Tip:

Three easy-to-follow tips to prevent overeating:

  1. Slow down when eating. Chew your food, and take smaller bites.  Be present when you're eating. Don't just grab food while doing other things. Acknowledge that you are eating.
  2. Stay hydrated. There are many negative health impacts from being even partially dehydrated. We often think we're hungry when we're actually thirsty, our metabolism slows down, and we can feel sluggish and have brain fog. Drink water!
  3. Remove unhealthy food from your home.
