When They See Me, Do They See You

  Last night was special. Quinn, my son, and I sat in the hot tub and talked about the things that matter in life. We listened to the song "Live Like That". The lyrics put tears in my eyes because it is my heart's desire to live as the song says. We talked about how if everyone started each day listening to this song, the world would be a different place.   All the words touch my heart, but the line that brings tears to my eyes and I feel in my soul is this:    

"When they see me, do they see You?".

  WOW. Today, I can ask God to help me to live in such a way that His love for others comes through me! Will I do it perfectly - not a chance! Will I give it all I can - you bet!   I LOVE Christian music. Lyrics to songs often bring me to tears and remind me to put God in the #1 spot in my life. What is it for you? What inspires you to want to become more like Jesus? Is it serving others, reading your Bible, walking in the woods..... whatever it is that motivates you to put God first - Do it and do it often.   You, me, and all Christians will never live flawlessly, but the closer we get to God, the more we can "Live Like That". Let these lyrics get into your heart and change you.
